Obituary Betty Lou Smith England, 87, of Lakeland, FL formerly of Monroe County passed away Friday, February 2 at Arbor Oaks Assisted Living in Lakeland.She was born May 5, 1930 in Monroe County, KY to the late Price Smith and Frances Ritter Smith. She was a retired quality control supervisor for a garment company. She was married to Kenneth England who preceded her in death on March 28, 2016.She is survived by one son: Mickey England of Davenport, FL, two sisters: Geraldean Hammer of Greenfield, IN, Juanita Duncan of Winchester, KY, several nieces and nephews also survive.In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three brothers: William Erskin, Leon and Billy Wayne Smith and an infant sister: Deela Mae Smith.Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 10 at 11:00 AM at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel with burial to follow in the Neal Cemetery at Flippin.Les Smith and Mickey England will officiate.Serving as pallbearers are: Billy Smith, Les Smith, Joe Smith, Roy Smith, Tim Duncan, Brent Fuqua, honorary pallbearer: Hal Teeters.Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, February 9 and after 9:00 AM on Saturday at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel.
