Carolyn J. (Butler) Curtis

Obituary Mrs. Carolyn J. Curtis, age 69, of Tompkinsville passed away, Saturday, December 28, 2019, at The Monroe County Medical Center.  Carolyn was born July 2, 1950, to the late Joe Fred Butler Sr., and Betty J. Head Butler.  She was united in marriage to Steve Curtis on October 2, 1976.  She was a graduate of Tompkinsville High School, Class of 1968, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Tompkinsville. Other than her husband she is survived by one son, Brad Curtis and Sandy Davis; one brother, Joe Fred Butler Jr. and Betty Jo Hall; one sister in law, Linda Dodson and husband Marrs; one niece, Kim (Chris) Walden, one nephew; Jason (Amy) Dodson; a great-nephew, Will Dodson; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.  Funeral services for Carolyn J. Curtis will be held Monday, December 30, 2019, at 1:00 pm at Anderson-Bartley Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with Bro. Davey Myatt and Jason Dodson officiating.  Burial will follow in Monroe County Memorial Lawn.  The family will receive visitors from 4 until 9:00 pm, on Sunday, December 29, 2019, and visitation will continue on Monday, December 30, 2019, from 6 am until time for the service at Anderson-Bartley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to Center Point Cemetery or Sid Yokley Cemetery in memory of Carolyn, and may be made at the Funeral Home.
