Obituary Clay Dean Bailey, 64, of Red Boiling Springs, TN, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN. He was born January 12, 1949 in Barren County, KY to the late Guy Thomas Bailey and Goldie Muriel Eudy Bailey. He was owner and operator of Nationwide Concrete Grooving and a self employed mechanic for most of his life. He was a part time minister and a member of Calvary Christian Assembly. He is survived by his wife: Brenda Gulley Bailey of Red Boiling Springs, TN, two sons: Michael Dean Bailey and wife Teri of Paducah, KY, Marty Lawrence Bailey and wife Amanda of Summer Shade, KY, one step son: Barrry Rhoton of Tompkinsville, one daughter: Stacey Lynn Palmore and husband Scott of Summer Shade, KY, one step daughter: Betina Copas and husband Jeff of Red Boiling Springs, TN, three brothers: Gerald Bailey of Columbia, KY, Ricky Bailey of Greensburg, KY, David Bailey of Edmonton, KY, one sister: Wanda Kidd of Knob Lick, 8 grandchildren: Cole Palmore, Tori Palmore, Legend Bailey, Dralyn Bailey, Denver Bailey, Britta Poindexter, Breonna Copas and Kelsey Rhoton, and 3 great grandchildren: Landon, Lucas and Liam Poindexter. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters: Sarah Francis Bailey and Lauretta Mae Bailey and two brothers: Russell "Bud" Bailey and Thomas "Dooley" Bailey. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 14 at 1:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Clementsville Cemetery in Clay County, TN. Visitation will be after 1:00 PM on Friday and after 7:30 AM on Saturday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.
