Obituary Darlya Dynell Goad, 45, of Tompkinsville, passed away Monday, April 28, 2014 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.She was born January 31, 1969 in Monroe County, KY to Libby Harper and James Earl Goad. She was a case worker for the Department of Social Services in Tennessee and a member of Athens Baptist Church.She is survived by her mother: Libby Harper of Tompkinsville, father: James Earl Goad of Cartersville, GA, one brother: Dyrayll Goad and wife Molly of Portland, OR, two sisters: Donya Dicken of Madisonville, KY, Dyshel Thompson of Tompkinsville, four nephews: Landon Dicken and wife Lora, John Isham Dicken, Trea Dillan Thompson and Hudson Goad, one great niece: Lilah Dicken,three aunts: Connie Frick of Mahomet, IL, Jean Bunch of Edmonton, KY,Belita Goad of Bowling Green, and several cousins.She was preceded in death by grandparents Wayne and Juanita Goad, Rufus and Ruby Harper.Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 3 at 5:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Gamaliel Cemetery.Visitation will be after 5:30 PM on Friday and after 7:30 AM on Saturday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.
