Debra Fox Emberton

Mrs. Debra Fox Emberton, age 68, of Tompkinsville, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. Debra was born on January 11, 1957, in Indianapolis, Indiana, a daughter of the late Rex Clyde and Delphia Ree (Webb) Fox. She owned and operated Deb’s Quilt Shop for several years, and was a member of the Sand Lick Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Ted Emberton, one daughter, Sara Birdwell and companion Patrick Goad, three step-children, Roger Emberton and wife Angie, Chris Emberton, and Tammy Emberton. Two grandchildren, Zander Birdwell and Mason Birdwell also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three sisters, Dannetta Emberton and husband Albert, Denise Walden and husband Rex, and Dorothy Curtis.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home with burial to follow in Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Bro. Terry Ford will officiate the service.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Wednesday morning after 8:00 a.m. until the service time at 1:00 p.m. at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home.

Pallbearers: Lynn Emberton, Michael Emberton, Zander Birdwell, Mason Birdwell, Patrick Goad, and Troy Emberton.

Honorary Pallbearers: Chris Emberton, Josh Birge, and Roger Emberton.
