Obituary Dennis "Dent" England age 93, of Gamaliel, passed away Friday,February 7, 2014 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN.He was born in Monroe County, KY on May 5, 1920 to the late Harlan EllisEngland and Ocia Elizabeth Taylor England. He was a farmer and a WWIIVeteran with the US Army. He and his wife, Marjorie Centers England, wereunited in marriage on June 17, 1953.He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Centers England of Gamaliel, KY, twosons: Dennis England (Paulette) of Hermitage Springs, TN and Tim Englandand his wife Angela of Macon County, TN, one Daughter: Detra Owens ofGamaliel, KY, one Sister: Ella Westbrook of Brandon, Mississippi, 6Grandchildren and 8 Great-grandchildren also survive.In adition to his parents he was preceded in death by Four Brothers: JackEngland, J.O. England, Raymond D. England, & infant Clifford England, twoSisters: Florence Whitis & Elease Burgess, and two Grandchildren.Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, February 10, 2014 at 1:00 P.M.at the Strode's Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel with burial to follow in theGamaliel Cemetery in Gamaliel. Military rites will be performed atgraveside by D.A.V. Chapter 20 of Glasgow.Visitation will be after 12:00 P.M. Sunday, February 9, 2014 and after7:30 AM on Monday at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel.Memorials are suggested to The Barren River Area Development District of In-Home Services and The Gamaliel Cemetery.
