Obituary Gearldine Woods Mills, 69, of Lafayette, TN formerly of Monroe County, KY, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. She was born February 11, 1945 in Monroe County, KY to the late Hubert Woods and Maude Temples Woods. She was a retired factory worker and a member of the Fountain Run Old Brick Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters: Sonia Wix and husband Kirk of Westmoreland, TN, Christy Dismon and husband Terry of Glasgow, two brothers: Burl Woods of Ft. Run, Donald Woods of Lafayette, TN, 5 grandchildren: Shelby Wix, Kaylie Dismon, Keri Dismon, Sierra Dismon and Bray Dismon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers: William, Billy, Todd and Vernon Clay Woods, one sister: Shirley Woods and 1 grandchild: Colin Dismon. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 30 at 2:00 PM at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel with burial to follow in the Fountain Run Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00 PM on Tuesday and after 7:30 AM on Wednesday at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel. Memorials are suggested to the Fountain Run Cemetery.
