Obituary George Thomas Chism, 70, of Tompkinsville, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016, at Kentuckiana Medical Center in Clarksville, IN.He was born September 17, 1945 in Monroe County, KY to the late William Finley Chism and Daisy B. Gillenwater Chism. He was a retired truck driver. He was united in marriage on December 18, 1965 to the former Dimple Jackson.He is survived by his wife: Dimple Jackson Chism of Tompkinsville, three daughters: Kimberly Chism and companion Steve Baskett of Mt. Hermon, Crystal McPherson and husband Kerry of Mt. Hermon, Brandy Greever and husband Jason of Mt. Hermon, one brother: James Chism of Louisville, two sisters: Alene Devine of Louisville, Patricia Jessie of Glasgow, five grandchildren: Derrick Wheat and wife Miranda, Blake Greever, Ashley McPherson and husband Dusty, Briley Greever and Logan McPherson, three step great grandchildren: Litney Davis, Hayden Pruitt and Talen Pruitt.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters: Wanda Glover and Agnes Williams.Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 9 at 2:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Beautiful Home Cemetery.Visitation will be after 2:00 PM on Tuesday and after 7:30 AM on Wednesday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.Memorials are suggested to Beautiful Home Cemetery, American Heart Association or the funeral expense.
