Jackie William Emberton

Jackie William Emberton, age 67, of Tompkinsville passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. He was born on June 13, 1953, the son of the late Landon and Dorothy (Ray) Emberton. He retired from St. Thomas Hospital and was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping. Jackie proudly served in the United States Navy from 1974 to 1978.

He is survived by one brother, James Ray Emberton, and wife Catherine of Tompkinsville; one niece, Monica Dawn Price, and husband Jeremy of Ft. Jennings, Ohio; one nephew, James Campbell Emberton of Chattanooga, Tennessee; seven great-nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Landon and Dorothy (Ray) Emberton; his grandmother, Josie Tooley; one brother, Landon Emberton, Jr.; one niece, Caron Lynette Emberton.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, February 26, 2021, at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home with burial in the Yokley Cemetery. Jason Thompson will officiate the service.
Visitation will be Friday, February 26, 2021, from 9:00 AM until time for the service at 1:00 PM.
