Obituary Jennifer Ann Myers Bowman, 54, of Summer Shade, formerly of Monroe County, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the Medical Center in Tompkinsville.She was born July 26, 1959 in Tompkinsville, KY to Lois Tabor Myers and the late Henry Myers. She was a retired school teacher for the Metcalfe County Board of Education, a member of Monroe County Retired Teachers Association and a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. She was united in marriage on August 3, 1989 to William D. Bowman.She is survived by her husband: William D. Bowman of Summer Shade, mother: Lois Myers of Tompkinsville, three brothers: Samuel Myers of Bowling Green,Daniel and Jason Myers both of Tompkinsville, sister: Cynthia Rowland of Glasgow, sister-in-law: Shirley Hammer of Summer Shade, mother-in-law: Alene Bowman of Summer Shade, two nephews, six nieces, two great nephews and four great nieces.Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 14 at 11:00 AM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the White Cemetery in Monroe County.Visitation will be after 2:00 PM on Friday and after 7:00 AM on Saturday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.Memorials are suggested to the White Cemetery.
