Obituary Justyne Gross Miller, 85, of Tompkinsville, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013 at the Monroe County Health and Rehab Center in Tompkinsville. She was born August 7, 1928 in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Paul Gross and Clara Ruth Canfield Gross. She was a retired school teacher, a member of Monroe County Retired Teachers Association, The Kentucky Education Association, and The National Education Association and a member of Calvery Asssembly Church. She was united in marriage on September 4, 1947 to James "Jim Tom" Miller.She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Ricky and Tammy Miller of Tompkinsville, two daughters: Diane Scantland and husband Bob of Bowling Green, Joyce Miller of Owensboro, KY, 3 grandchildren: Bobbye McDaniel and husband Shannon of Bowling Green, KY; Mackenzie Miller and Braxton Miller, of Tompkinsville, KY. 3 great grandchildren: Noah Scantland, Jackson, and Kennedi McDaniel of Bowling Green, KY.In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers: Don Gross, and Paul Gross Jr. One infant son: Tim Lee Carter Miller.Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 1:30 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Skaggs Creek Cemetery in Monroe County. Visitation will be after 1:00 PM on Saturday December 7, 2013 and after 7:30 AM on Sunday December 8, 2013 at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.
