Kellie Renee (Moran) Hammer

Mrs. Kellie Renee (Moran) Hammer, age 54, of Tompkinsville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022, at The Medical Center of Bowling Green, surrounded by her family.  She was born on September 7, 1967, the daughter of the late Harold Wayne Moran and Jo Ann Martin of Edmonton.  She graduated from Metcalfe County High School in 1985, and attained her RN Degree from Western Kentucky University, utilizing her degree at Signature Healthcare of Monroe for over thirty-two years. On July 1, 1989, she married Brian Christopher Hammer, of Tompkinsville.  Kellie was the epitome of Housewife and hardworking, loving to clean, cook, and host her family and friends.  She enjoyed traveling to the beach and spending time with her family.  She was a devout member of Tompkinsville First Baptist Church.  

In addition to her mother, Jo Ann Moran, and her Husband, Brian Christopher Hammer, she is survived by her two sons; Ty and wife Amber Hammer, and Drew Hammer (Leah Stephens) all of Tompkinsville, her beloved first grandchild, Knox Hammer, grandfather, Edgar Martin of Edmonton, her Mother in law, Bessie Hammer of Tompkinsville, two brothers in law; Duane (Dana) Hammer, and Joel (Cathy) Stewart, two sisters in law, Julia (Jason) Blunt, and Carmen (John) Enlow, along with several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Raymond Hammer.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with burial to follow in Monroe County Memorial Lawn. 

The family will receive friends on Monday evening after 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and again on Tuesday morning after 9:00 a.m. until the time for services at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Signature Healthcare of Monroe Elder Fund, or to the American Cancer Society in honor of Mrs. Kellie Hammer.
