L.C. Tabor

Obituary "L.C." Tabor, age 88, of Scottsville, passed away Saturday February 28, 2015, at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY. He was born on February 19,1927 in Allen Co. KY to the late Aubrey B. Tabor and Alma Lois Tabor. He married Mildred Welch on February 19, 1950, who preceded him in death October 10, 2011.He became a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church on November 4, 1939 where he served as a Deacon for over 63 years. He was a WWII Veteran, Serving in the Army. L.C. was avid about showing mules with his son Greg. He never missed a State Fair in 56 years. He was very loved by family and friends. He is survived by One Son- Greg Tabor and wife Teresa, of Scottsville, KY Two Daughters - Kathy Harston and husband Jimmy of Scottsville, KY, Gail Pippin and husband Henry of Campbellsville, KY Grandchildren- Chad Harston and wife Misty, Troy Harston and wife Jena, Cary Morris and husband Trey, all of Scottsville Jennifer Harmeyer of Newport, KYSix Great Grandchildren also survive. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the Strode Funeral Home Scottsville Chapel with burial to follow in the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Scottsville, KY. Visitation will be held after 12:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 1, 2015 and after 7:30 A.M. Monday, March 2, 2015 and after 7:30 A.M. Tuesday, March 3, 2015 until time of funeral.
