Martha (Dodson) Anderson

Martha (Dodson) Anderson, age 86, of Moss, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021, peacefully at her home. She was born on February 22, 1935, the daughter of the late Bedford and Willia Dean (Crawford) Dodson. She married John Allen Anderson on December 20, 1958, he preceded her in death on May 15, 2007.

She is survived by two sons, Steve Anderson and wife Kathy of Moss, Tennessee and John Mark Anderson and wife Anita of Celina, Tennessee; one daughter, Barbara Richmond and husband Jerry of Moss, Tennessee; four sisters, Mary, Nell, and Jessie Dodson and Lovie Roach; three grandchildren, Chris Jones, and Wesley, and Whitney Anderson also survive.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Mayme Dodson Crawford; two brothers, Charlie and Carley Dodson.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial in the Bailey Cemetery. Jason Dodson will officiate the service.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 20 from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday morning after 8:00 a.m. until time for the service at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to The American Cancer Society in memory of Mrs. Anderson. Memorials may be made at the Funeral Home.
