Obituary Modena Ford, 95, of Gamaliel passed away Monday, February 3, 2014 at Monroe Health & Rehab in Tompkinsville. She was born March 25, 1981 in Monroe County, KY to the late John Ford and Loretta Copas Ford. She was a member of Gamaliel Baptist Church and a retired garment factory worker. She loved piecing and quilting quilts. She is survived by one son: Jack Ford of Gamaliel, 4 grandchildren 4 great grandchildren 8 great- great grandchildren, Caregivers: Betty Ford and Jewell Hunter of Tompkinsville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers: Carl, Ralph, Rue, Lawrence and James Ford and two sisters: Bassie Ford and Edna Ferguson. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 6 at 2:00 PM at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel in Gamaliel with burial to follow in the Gamaliel Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:30 PM on Wednesday and after 7:30 AM on Thursday at Strode's Gamaliel Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the Gamaliel Cemetery.
