Rickie Dewayne Davis

Mr. Rickie Dewayne Davis, age 60, of Tompkinsville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Signature Healthcare of Monroe. Rickie was born on November 21, 1962, a son of the late Eugene Merle Davis, and Linda Sue (Hanks) Walker.  He graduated from Tompkinsville High School, Class of 1981, He was the owner of Builders Wholesale in Tompkinsville, and enjoyed Four wheeling, Motorcycles, and Golf.  He was a member of Campground Methodist Church.

He is survived by his mother Linda Sue (Hanks) Walker and husband Edwin D. of Summer Shade, three brothers; Marshall Davis and his wife Bobbie, Dana Davis and his wife Karen, both of Tompkinsville, and Eric Davis and his wife Leah of Franklin, Kentucky. His nieces, Brookie Keith, Kelly Pruitt, Alyssa Davis, Rebekkah Bean, Addison Davis, Riley Davis, Morgan Davis, and Olivia Davis, three great nieces, and two great nephews also survive.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a niece, Cheyenne Harrell, and his maternal grandparents, Johnnie and Nellie Hanks, his paternal grandparents, Samuel and Isabelle Davis, and his little dog Alvin.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2023, from Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with burial to follow in Harlan’s Crossroads Cemetery.  Elder Anthony Hale will officiate the services.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 3, 2023, from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home, and again on Saturday morning after 8:00 a.m. until time for services at 11:00.
