Obituary Robert Tramble Smith, 63, of the Sulphur Lick Community of Monroe County, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015, at his home.He was born October 24, 1952 in Monroe County, KY to Ruby Jones Smith Tooley and the late Tramble Smith. He was united in marriage on September 12, 1970 to the former Judy Birge.He is survived by his wife: Judy Birge Smith, his mother: Ruby Smith Tooley, one son: Bradley Smith and wife Teresa, one daughter: Amanda Donaldson all of Tompkinsville, three sisters: Eva Trivette and husband Robert of Granite Falls, NC, Betty Proffitt of Tompkinsville, Rachel Cupp and husband Jim of Louisville, three grandchildren: Peyton Smith, Kaitlin Smith, Jasper Donaldson, two step grandchildren: Garrett Graves, Colby Graves, 2 step great grandchildren: Emma Graves and Ellie Graves, several nieces and nephews also survive.In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his step-father: Randall Tooley and a brother-in-law: Gary Proffitt.Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 12 at 1:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the White Cemetery.Visitation will be after 1:00 PM on Friday and after 7:30 AM on Saturday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.Memorials are suggested to the White Cemetery.
