Shirley Mae Wilborn

Ms. Shirley Mae (Chapman) Wilborn, age 69, of Tompkinsville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023, at her home.  Shirley was born in Nashville, Tennessee on June 10, 1953, a daughter of the late James Edward and Lelia Mae (Binkley) Chapman. She was a housewife, and of the Baptist Faith.

She is survived by her children; Joey Wilborn and Fiancé, Vicki Wright of Temple Hill, Julie Blythe and husband Chris, of Tompkinsville, and Benjamin Wilborn of Knoxville, Tennessee. Three grandchildren; Kayla Jo Jackson and husband Steven, Logan Blythe, and Joseph Andrew Wilborn, and two great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, and Nevaeh Jackson also survive.

In addition to her parents, James Edward, and Lelia Mae (Binkley) Chapman, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Chapman, and Leon Chapman.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2023, at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with burial to follow in the White Cemetery.  Bro. Chad Ford will officiate the service. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 16, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday morning after 8:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.
