Mr. Tim Dubree, age 63, of Edmonton, Kentucky, and formerly of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee. Tim was born in Tompkinsville, on September 29, 1963, a son of Katheryn Louise (Crews) Dubree, and the late David Aaron Dubree. Tim graduated from Tompkinsville High School class of 1981, then attended Somerset Community College to obtain a Business Degree. He was a member of the Cyclone Church of Christ, and retired from Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems. Tim enjoyed being with friends and family, golfing, sports enthusiast, and had a passion for cheering on UK basketball and football.
He is survived by his mother Katheryn Dubree of Tompkinsville; his wife of seventeen years Jo Ann (Butcher) Dubree of Edmonton; his son, Caleb Dubree of Cave City; his brother, Terry Dubree and wife Paula of Edmonton; one close brother-in-law, Steve Butcher and wife Pam of Somerset, Kentucky; his two canine companions Denali and Smokey; his Sumitomo “Family”, and several nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Aaron Dubree.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 5, 2026, at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with interment to follow in the Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Teddy Grider and Kerry Tooley will officiate the services.
Visitation with the family will be held on Monday morning, October 5, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until the service time at 2:00 p.m. at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home.
