Mrs. Vera Paulette (Isenberg) Bartley, age 74, of The Persimmon Community, of Monroe County, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023, at Greenview Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her family.  Paulette was born in Gamaliel, Kentucky on November 26, 1948, a daughter of the late Orvil and Eula (Turner) Isenberg. She married Bobby J. Bartley on November 11, 1968, and she and Bobby ran B& P Grocery in the Persimmon Community for over thirty years.   She retired from the Monroe County FSA office after thirty-seven years, and after retirement, she became a FOX News Fanatic, keeping up to date with everything across the world.   Paulette had a personality that could light up any room, she enjoyed Scrapbooking, and puzzle building with her grandchildren, decorating her house for the kids' enjoyment regardless of the season or holiday. 

In addition to her husband, Bobby, she is survived by her children; Amanda Cornelius and husband Jeff, Katrina Brown and husband WD, and Derrick Bartley and wife Sarah, all of Tompkinsville, eleven grandchildren; Brittney McCoy and husband Ethan, Sean Gramlin and wife Kelsey, Brandon Gramlin, Brad Cornelius and wife Morgan, Jordan Thompson and companion Kaitlin Smith, Madison Brown, Kelsey Jo Bartley, Ben Brown, Axel James Bartley, Charlie Jax Bartley, Kendryx Bartley, and five great-grandchildren, Ava Ballard, Emilee McCoy, Saige Cornelius, Gage McCoy, Sloane Cornelius, and Baby Girl Thompson due in July. Her mother-in-law, Jean Bartley, three brothers; Odell Isenberg and wife Wanda, Dashiel Isenberg, and wife Mildred, Joe Isenberg and wife Anna, and one sister, Catherine Emberton and husband Jim, Sisters in law, Faye Hurt, And Gaye Hammer, and Brothers in law, Bill Bartley & wife Betty, Benny Bartley and wife Karen, Byron Bartley and wife Teresa, along with a host of nieces, and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, Orvil and Eula Isenberg, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Hannah Brown, sister Dorlis Watson, and husband Ranford, a brother Joel Isenberg, a sister-in-law, Loretta Bryant, and husband Lavonne, three brothers-in-law, Ricky Bartley, Larry Hurt, and Wayne Hammer, and her father-in-law, Fred Bartley.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2023, from Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with burial to follow in Monroe County Memorial Lawn.  Jason Page will officiate the services.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 7:00 a.m. until time for services at 1:00 p.m.
