Obituary Wanda Jackson Welch, 72, of Bowling Green, formerly of Tompkinsville, passed away Sunday, January 3 at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.She was born July 21, 1943 in Monroe County, KY to the late Ray Jackson and Lovie Crawford Jackson. She was a homemaker and a member of The First Baptist Church of Bowling Green. She was united in marriage on August 12, 1962, in Tompkinsville to Roger Welch.She is survived by her husband: Roger Welch, one son Dr. Richard Welch and wife Ashlea, two grandchildren: Campbell Welch and Jackson Welch all of Bowling Green and a foster child: Wendy Taquira Welch of Guatemala City.Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 7 at 1:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with entombment at Monroe County Memorial Lawn Mausoleum.Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday at J. C. Kirby and Son, Lovers Lane Chapel in Bowling Green and after 9:00 AM on Thursday until time of service at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.Memorials are suggested to The First Baptist Church of Bowling Green or the American Cancer Society.
