Obituary William Frank Stewart, 77, of Tompkinsville, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville.He was born January 16, 1937 in Monroe County, KY to the late John Stewart and Samantha Jazzie Eades Stewart. He was a retired State Highway Department worker. He was united in marriage on September 11, 1954 to the former Nella Propes in Barren County, KY.He is survived by his wife: Nella Propes Stewart of Tompkinsville, one son: Steve Stewart and wife Kay of Bowling Green, three daughters: Judy Smith of Ft. Run,Sherry Lane and husband Jerry, Vickie Smith and husband Timmy all of Tompkinsville, two sisters: Kathleen Davis and Clorene Dyer both of Tompkinsville, 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by six brothers: Oscar, Mitchell, Elvin, Homer, Barlow and Bennett, five sisters: Elva Scott, Eugenia Stewart, Bertha Stewart, Beulah Graham and Maymie Stewart.Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 2:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in Monroe County Memorial Lawn.Visitation will be after 2:00 PM on Monday and after 7:30 AM on Tuesday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.
