Obituary Emma Jean Parsley Keys, 81, of Tompkinsville, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Monroe County Medical center in Tompkinsville.She was born July 14, 1932 in Monroe County, KY to the late Arthur Parsley and Beulah Botts Parsley. She was a homemaker and a member of Phillippi Church of Christ. She was united in marriage on October 1, 1949 to Edgar Wayne Keys who preceded her in death.She is survived by three sons: Jimmy Edgar Keys and wife Barbara of Tompkinsville, Johnny Wayne Keys and wife Rita of Tompkinsville,Jewel Dewayne Keys and wife Amy of Tompkinsville, three daughters: Mae Strode of Summer Shade, Josephine Walker and husband Lindsay of Tompkinsville, Frances Lorean Lee and husband Robert of Tompkinsville,one brother: Ralph Parsley of Indianapolis, IN, three sisters: Eva Smith of Indianapolis, IN, Reva Jackson of Shelbyville, IN, Betty Hack of San Jose, C,A16 grandchildren 18 great grandchildren 4 great-great grandchildren.In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two daughters: Kathleen Pennington and Emma Rich, five brothers: Edmond, bill, Randall, James and Clifton Parsley and two sisters: Ruth Parsley and Jeannetta Imel. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 26 at 1:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery.Visitation will be after 11:00 AM on Tuesday and after 7:30 AM on Wednesday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
