Geneva Emmert DyerObituary Geneva Emmert Dyer, 94, of Tompkinsville, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville.She was born January 11, 1921 in Monroe County, KY to the late Benton Emmert and Phoebe Thompson Emmert. She was a retired sales clerk and a member of Freewill Church of Christ. She was united in marriage on March 20, 1967 to Ray Dyer who preceded her in death on November 15, 1980.She is survived by two brothers: Joe Emmert of Lincoln Park, MichiganJack Emmert of Louisville, three sisters: Dean Gettings, Aletha Walden and Olivia Hall all of Tompkinsville and several nieces and nephews also survive.In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by six brothers: Francis, Ray, Eugene, Ervin, infants Codel & Reagle Emmert, and one sister: Opal Bartley.Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 5 at 1:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Rocky Hill Cemetery.Visitation will be after 4:00 PM on Monday and after 7:30 AM on Tuesday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.Memorials are suggested to the Rocky Hill Cemetery or Mt.
