Luke Linus WinterObituary Luke Linus Winter age 18, of Tompkinsville, passed away Tuesday January 21, 2014 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He was born April 8, 1995 in Barren Co. Ky. to Elizabeth Christensen Winter and the late Steven Linus Winter. He was a Monroe County High School Senior, where he was a member of the JR ROTC, and the Chess Club. He was also a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church in Flippin, KY. He is survived by: his Mother Elizabeth Christensen Winter of Tompkinsville, KY One Brother - Kurt Winter of Tompkinsville, KY Two Sisters Elizabeth Canning of Denver, CO Taryn Winter of Tompkinsville, KY Grandparents - Arthur and Mary Winter of Sioux Falls, SD He is preceded in death Father - Steven Linus Winter Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday January 26, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Monroe Co. High School Gymnasium in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Neal cemetery in Monroe County. Visitation will be after 4:00 P.M. I am so sorry for your loss, Luke was an amazing kid and student. He always tried to achieve more than others. He was very smart, loving and caring. It breaks my heart to hear that he is gone. Rest in peace luke. So many people are missing you and love you..
