Janice Susie Moore

Mrs. Janice “Susie” Moore, age 70, of Gamaliel, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 2, 2023.  She was born on October 18, 1952, the daughter of the late Robert Edward, and Lizzie Helen (Copas) Keith.  She was a 1970 graduate of Tompkinsville High School.  She married Carlie Fay Moore on August 17, 1970.  Susie enjoyed sewing, going to yard sales, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Carlie Fay Moore, four daughters; Carla Moore, Tonya Emmert, Jennifer Buck, and Ashley Moore, three brothers; Danny Keith, Larry Keith, and Michael Keith, three sisters; Kathey Smith, Margie Keith, and Tina Gerald.  Ten grandchildren; Dakota, Chelsey, Jake, Maddie, Brittany, Wesley, Keaton, Makayla, Sable, and Heather, nine great-grandchildren; Waylon, Joseph, Landon, Cami, Remi, Jameson, Gamble, Greyson, and Raelynn also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; David Neil Keith, and Charles “ Tinker” Keith, one sister; Jo Ann Baskett, and a nephew, Joshua Hale.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in Neal Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Saturday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and again on Sunday after 8:00 a.m. until time for services at 2:00 p.m.

 

Pallbearers: Jeremy Keith, Logan Keith, Lincoln Keith, Tristan Silva, Shawn Mason Hale, Wesley Emmert, Keaton Emmert, and Michael Emmert

 

Honorary Pallbearer: Kenneth Bentley

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Neal Cemetery or Gamaliel Volunteer Fire Department in honor of Mrs. Moore.
