Sorry to hear of the passing of Jo Anna. I am the granddaughter of her Aunt Mint and the daughter of Jessie Marie Deckard Cherry. I very much appreciated Jo Anna along with Bliss, Carson and others that came to the Haysville Cemetery when my mother Jessie Marie was buried in 2008. I was never with Jo Anna very much, but always heard about the family a lot when I visited my grandparents. I remember Uncle Millard coming to visit sometimes at my grandparents. I would hear my mother and grandmother talking about Cyler, Helen, Bliss and the others while they were cooking dinner and washing the dishes. My grandmother would catch my mother up on where they were and what they were doing, etc. I came to Gamaliel Memorial Day weekend. We went to the Gamaliel Cemetery and put flowers on my grandparents graves. I enjoy looking around the cemetery and seeing the graves of my ancestors, other relatives and people I once knew or have heard a lot about. We drove out Cropper Ridge where my grandparents used to live and then went through Bugtussle to Lafayette where we used to live.Elaine Cherry Jenkins960 Keysburg RoadAllensville KY 42204270-772-4762elainejenkins0229@gmail.com
