John Albert Hill

Obituary John Albert Hill, 79, of Gamaliel passed away Friday, May 30, 2014 at Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville. He was born July 15, 1934 in Wheaton, IL to the late Earnest Hill and Matilda Frier Hill. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Gamaliel Baptist Church.He was united in marriage on December 13, 1969 to the former Mary Craven. He is survived by his wife Mary Craven Hill of Gamaliel, one son: Mark Hill of Austin, TX, two daughters: Brandy Grimme of Hendersonville, TN, Lisa Marie Randazzo of IL, step daughter: Carla Burke of Downers Grove, IL, one brother: Robert Hill of Prophetstown, IL, 22 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son: John Albert Hill II, one daughter: Kimbely Ann Loquist, four sisters: Helen Drury, Bernice Rogers, Bettty Vogt and Delores Brooks. Cremation was chosen by the family and a memorial service will be held one June 8th, 2014 at the Gamaliel Baptist Church immediately following the worship service that day.
