Lloyd Bartley
Mr. Lloyd Bartley, age 87, of Tompkinsville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022, at his home. He was born in Mt. Gilead on October 20, 1934, a son of the late William Carl and Helen (Hagan) Bartley. He was baptized at a young age in Mt. Gilead Creek and was a Member of the Mt. Gilead Church of Christ. Lloyd married Louise Kerr on January 28, 1954, at The Church of Christ in Celina, Tennessee.
In addition to his wife of sixty-eight years, Louise, he is survived by his children; Rebecca Ann (Becky) Bartley, Michael Lloyd Bartley, Gary Millard Bartley and his wife Greta, and Mary Helen Bartley, four grandchildren; MacShane Bartley and his wife Cybil, Dillan Bartley and his wife Ashley, Megan Brown and her husband Elliott, and Presley Woods, and eight great-grandchildren; Ramsey Kate Bartley and her fiancé, Austyn Belcher, Reece Harlan Bartley, Oakley Bartley, Layton Brown, Vanley Bartley, Ellison Brown, Lawson Brown, and Rip Bartley also survive.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
Funeral Services will be conducted at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2022. With interment to follow in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery. John Osgothorp, and Fowler Ross will officiate the service.
The Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday morning from 6:30 until time for the Service at 3:00.

Lloyd and I got to know each other at the Glasgow Livestock Auction on Mondays beginning in 2008. We would sit together and talk as the cattle were sold. He was always interested in talking about family. Will miss him and will pray for Louise and the family.
