Margaret Ann (Wright) Blankenship
Margaret Ann (Wright) Blankenship, age 80, of Glasgow formerly of Gamaliel passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at TJ Samson Community Hospital. She was born on September 28, 1942, the daughter of the late Sam Houston and Gillie B. (Ritter) Wright. Margaret retired from Lafayette Manufacturing and enjoyed farming, gardening, and quilting.
She is survived by three daughters, Rebecca Marsh Harper and husband Mike of Edmonton, Renee Copass and husband Frank of Glasgow, and Janie Richardson and husband Michael of Edmonton; grandchildren, Brookie Dial (Brad), Katie Harris (Jordan) Kayla Ford (Jimmy), Sarah Webb Fadling (Dillan), Gunnar Westmoreland, Frankie Copass, Lauren Vonckx, and Katie Ballard; Great-grandchildren, Braeden, Tanner, Kelleigh, Allison, Chyanna, Elijah, Titus, Abigail, Lakelyn, Jaxon, Sawyer, and Layne; a dear friend, Jacob Fields also survives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband J.B. Blankenship, two grandsons, Kyle Harper and Gavin Westmoreland; three brothers, Charles, Houston, and Jack Wright; one sister, Pearl Cook.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 24, 2022, at Bartley & Sons Gamaliel Chapel with burial in the New Liberty Cemetery. Barbara Jenkins will officiate the service.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 24 from 9:00 am until time for the service at 1:00 pm.
