Obituary Marvin Douglas "Doug" Watson, 81, of Tompkinsville, passed away Monday, May 2, 2016 at the Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville.He was born June 7, 1934 in Monroe County, KY to the late Henry Lloyd Watson and Martha Ader Crawford Watson. He was a retired truck driver, salvage dealer and a member of Red Hill Holiness Church. He is survived by four sons: Waymon Watson and wife Veronica, Wayne Watson and wife Cindy, Ravy Watson and wife Kristie and David Watson all of Tompkinsville, two step sons: Jimmy Copas of Tompkinsville, Christopher Copas of Glasgow, two step daughters: Jamie Copas and Angie Watson both of Tompkinsville, one brother: Wallace Watson of Tompkinsville and one sister: Jane Doss of Celina, TN, 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wives: Jewell Smith Watson and Mary Vibbert Watson, six brothers: Harold, George Eagle, Radford, Bedford, Isaac Ray and Paul David Watson, two half- brothers: James Watson and Wendell Basil, four sisters: Elsie, Delsie, Carolyn and Mary Elizabeth Watson.Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 5 at 12:00 PM at the Red Hill Holiness Church with burial to follow in the Watson Cemetery.Visitation will be after 2:00 PM on Wednesday and from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Thursday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville and after 11:00 AM on Thursday at Red Hill Holiness Church until time of service at 12:00 PM.Memorials are suggested to the Watson Cemetery.
